Wildflowers

In this series, I celebrate the profound connection between women and wildflowers, drawing parallels between their resilience, beauty, and untamed nature. Wildflowers, like women, grow bravely, wild, and free in a world often plagued by conformity, A wildflower is not intentionally seeded or planted, much like we find ourselves not where we intended to be - physically or mentally - yet we bloom nonetheless.

Through  mixed media on paper and the traditionally feminine art of needlework, my work highlights the unique qualities of both women and wildflowers - each of them different, yet all essential to the landscape. This series invites reflection on the power of women to embrace their authenticity, to grow beyond imposed boundaries, and to celebrate the natural, wild essence that resides within them.
